New Years – DD13

Well, it’s that time of year, when people make their new years resolutions. In this episode, dome talks a little bit about making the type of new years resolutions people should make and why.

Dom also talks about the resolutions that he wants to make for himself.  Here are a few:

  • Get his shodan – 1st degree black belt.
  • Start running/jogging
  • Play guitar more

Dom also made a few new years resolutions for the show:

  • Record an episode every week no matter what
  • Finish the recording studio
  • Have more guests.

  1. Dom. LOVE this. I am FINALLY listening to your podcast (because life. HUGE thanks to your beautiful wife for reminding me to listen) and I love it. You are engaging, fun, and approachable. Your voice was made for this business, too. (Seriously, I could listen to you for hours. …and obviously will.)

On point, this presentation was great. I wish you all the best on your personal resolutions, which are hugely doable and you’ll absolutely trounce them. Thank you for the “do this for YOU” message, too. I have struggled with that, in terms of NY resolutions and life, a lot in the past. It does so little for a productive, happy life to live your life for someone else. So I’ve stopped. I catch myself sometimes, wondering if I’m doing what I’m doing for myself, or for someone else, but I’m thrilled to be able to recognize that and evaluate it. I just said to Tracy in an email last night that I am finally in love with my life and the direction it’s taking. Days can be difficult (so it goes), but the big picture is pretty exciting. I have you and Tracy to thank for some of that. You have always been supporters and encouragers of me. I didn’t take that for granted before, I simply did not understand and appreciate it the way that I do now.

I digress. (This will be the longest blog-style reply I leave. Probably…. ) In short: great piece. Great podcast. Well done, sir. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, philosophies, and life.

    • Thank you so much Kim. Yeah, I think the best thing is “do this for YOU”, because it can be such a waste of energy to do it any other way.

You’re very welcome, that’s what friends are for. We love you. 🙂 Glad to know that you didn’t take it for granted. 🙂

LOL, that’s ok, digress all you want here. 🙂
